DELIVER study | 2008 - 2011
Evelien Spelten (CI) Trudy Klomp, Margeeth van der Meijden, Francois Schellevis
The Deliver study is concerned with the organization and quality of care. Its aim is to survey and describe the current patterns of demand and service provision in midwifery. It was the first large-scale study evaluating the quality and provision of primary midwifery care. The multicenter DELIVER study provides an extensive database with national representative data on the quality of primary care midwifery in the Netherlands. This study will support evidence-based practice in primary care midwifery in the Netherlands and contribute to a better understanding of the maternity care system.
